Our history

Palmetto Residential Electric was founded in 2002 with a clear purpose: to improve the state of the electrical trade while building long-lasting partnerships with builders and clients. From the beginning, we set out to raise the standard of workmanship, reliability, and professionalism in every project we take on.

What started as a single location in Charleston has grown steadily over the years into a strong presence across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, with seven locations serving our partners and communities. This growth reflects our commitment to consistency, quality, and the relationships we’ve built along the way.

In 2023, we expanded into Florida with the acquisition of Moore Electrical Contractors in Jacksonville, further advancing our vision of strengthening our brand and continuing our mission to improve the electrical trade.

Through every phase of our growth, our team has remained focused on delivering dependable electrical solutions while fostering relationships built on communication, accountability, and shared success.
